The Cu Chi Tunnels are one of the most interesting historical sites to visit from Ho Chi Minh City. I’ve brought many travelers here, and it’s always a place that leaves a strong impression.
On this half-day trip, we explore a preserved section of the tunnel network used during the Vietnam War. Visitors can see hidden trapdoors, bunkers, and learn how people lived and moved underground during the war.
If you’re curious, you can also try crawling through a short section of the tunnel — a small but memorable way to understand what life in the tunnels was like.

Daily Departure
Pick up time: 8:00 – 8:30AM Drop off time: About 13:00 – 13:30
Hotel pick-up
Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and drive about 1.5 hours (60 km) to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Stop along the way at a lacquer workshop.
Introduction to the site
Watch a short documentary about the tunnels and their role during the Vietnam War.
Explore the tunnels
Walk through the site to see hidden entrances, traps, and underground living areas including kitchens, storage rooms, field hospitals, and weapon workshops.
Local workshop & tasting
Visit a rice paper workshop and enjoy traditional tea and tapioca, a simple food once eaten by guerrilla fighters.
Return to the city
Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
