Hotel pick-up & transfer
Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and drive to the countryside of Ben Luc in the Mekong Delta.
Local market visit
Stop at a village market in Ben Luc to see fresh local produce and buy bait for the fishing experience.
Boat cruise & fishing
Board a traditional motorboat and cruise along quiet canals. Stop along the riverbanks to try local fishing techniques using simple rods and nets, a common livelihood in the delta.
Countryside walk & coconut garden
Continue deeper into the canals and take a short walk through the rural landscape before arriving at a local coconut garden.
Hands-on countryside activities & cooking
Take part in fun rural activities such as duck herding and canal bailing. Then join a cooking session to prepare southern Vietnamese dishes like Bánh Xèo, Chả Giò, and grilled pork in betel leaves.
Home-style lunch & relaxation
Enjoy lunch with the dishes you prepared along with other local specialties: Lemongrass Chicken, Fried Eggs, Minced Pork Soup, Steamed Rice, and seasonal fruits. followed by some time to relax in hammocks under the coconut trees.
Sampan ride through nipa canals
End the countryside visit with a peaceful rowboat ride through narrow canals lined with nipa palms.
Return to the city
Transfer back by boat and drive to Ho Chi Minh City where the tour concludes.
