Hue Perfume River Dinner Cruise and Folk Music

The city is better from the water after dark.

Trip duration: 2 hours

Dinner, Ca Hue Folk Music and Lanterns on the Perfume River

Trip duration: 2 hours

Most evenings in Hue end with dinner at a restaurant. This one ends on the water.

The Perfume River has always been central to Hue's identity: emperors sailed it, poets wrote about it, and the city's most important monuments face it. This evening cruise gives you a way to experience it properly: from a traditional dragon boat, with a seven-course meal of genuine Hue cuisine, live ca Hue folk music performed by local musicians, and the quiet ritual of releasing lanterns onto the current as the night settles in.

Your table is private, the boat is air-conditioned, and the whole experience runs for just under two hours. Long enough to feel the city from the river, short enough to leave you wanting more. We'll be at Toa Kham dock with a sign for you at 18:45. Everything else, we take care of.

“
Hue is my home, and the Perfume River runs through everything we are — our emperors sailed it, our poets wrote about it, and I still think the city is at its most beautiful from a boat after dark. I love watching guests fall quiet when the ca Hue singers begin and the lanterns drift away on the current. If it's your last night in Hue, spend it here on the water.
”
