Van is Co-founder and Director of Banh Mi Travel Escape and the driving force behind our journeys across Vietnam. She oversees our programs across the country and knows the destination inside out. Van loves traveling, discovering new places and staying active. When she’s not planning trips, you’ll usually find her enjoying Vietnamese egg coffee (cà phê trứng) or her favourite dish — a sizzling hot pot (she can never get enough). Her favourite place in Vietnam is the beach in Da Nang, where the ocean and the relaxed Vietnamese lifestyle come together perfectly. 🌊☕

Our Saigon team knows every corner of southern Vietnam — from the bustling streets of District 1 to the floating markets of the Mekong Delta. They can build anything from a weekend city break to a two-week expedition through the south. Each consultant has lived in Vietnam for at least three years and travels the region regularly to keep their recommendations fresh.

Our team includes Jana Vesela (Team Lead) , Nguyen Hoang Nam (Adventure Specialist) , Katerina Buresova (Family Travel Expert) and Vo Thi Kim Anh (Luxury Travel Advisor) , who help with travel planning, accommodation, itineraries, and the overall trip experience.

Bao is a third-generation Saigonese who grew up in the maze of alleys near Ben Thanh Market. With a degree in Vietnamese History and fluent English, he connects visitors with the real Saigon — the one that lives in hidden coffee shops, war-era tunnels, and family-run pho stalls. His Cu Chi Tunnels tours are consistently rated as the highlight of our guests' trips.

Based in District 1, our operations team coordinates everything behind the scenes. They manage vehicle logistics, liaise with partner hotels, and handle any last-minute changes. With a 24/7 emergency hotline, you always have someone to call if plans change or you need assistance.
